Management Committee

As well as a large team of consultants who work on the individual client projects, Freshsight also has a managerial committee that helps manage our organisation and determine our long-term strategy.

 Alexandra Baskerville, General Manager

“As a fourth year Microbiology honours student, consultancy was not in forefront of my mind when I moved to Edinburgh from London. However, having always engaged with the social sector as a volunteer, FreshSight seemed the perfect marriage of business development with social impact. During my first year as a consultant I was Project Leader for a Dyslexia Scotland in a service and membership strategy review, before being elected to the post of Development Manager last year. I am deeply passionate about the work FreshSight consultants do within the Edinburgh community and feel privileged to have a continual insight into business methods, people management and third sector structures. Above all, FreshSight has furthered my understanding of the importance of social impact organisations and their continual need for support.”

Lucy Stewart is a fourth year Physiology Honours student at the University of Edinburgh. Lucy has been involved with FreshSight since her first term as an undergraduate and has actively participated in the organisations strategy in the face of positive growth and expansion. Prior to moving to Edinburgh, Lucy lived in America where she actively participated in a variety of volunteer and community based initiatives. Lucy has worked for a number of non-profit organisations, such as GALVmed and the Biosciences Knowledge Transfer Network and is a  great advocate of the third sector’s influence and importance in society.

Rebecca Holmes, Organisational manager

Rebecca is in her third year of a Politics and Social History joint degree with the  University of Edinburgh. Rebecca is from Nottingham and began her involvement with FreshSight in her second year of studies. Having previously worked with a number of local third sector organisations she sees Freshsight as a portal to raising awareness within the student community of the meritous social effects that charities are so often not given credit for. She has ambitions to work within the Human Rights charity sector upon leaving Edinburgh and is  a firm believer in the need to re-engage young and disaffected people with their communities and restore their belief in socio-political activism.

Charlotte Kelly, External Manager

Charlotte is currently in her third year studying Economics at the University of Edinburgh. Charlotte became a member of FreshSight in her second year and firstly worked with a charity based in Ecuador after just coming back from volunteering there. As well as combining her passion for working with charities, she is also interested in business as a profession after previous experience at an energy consulting firm, and feels FreshSight perfectly combines these two interests. She aims to strengthen the relationship between FreshSight and corporations and is deeply excited at the astounding rapid development FreshSight has recently undergone.
